Bowers used to get busy and The Rattler was the alternate. It did not open until the Station Buffet in the Central closed!
No women allowed except the staff!
Kippers were good at 3.30am after the Downbeat!
Once saw the staff requesting Dave Charnley the famous Boxer to remove his girl-friend.
I seem to remember she stayed.
